| 1. Upon arrival, present your prescription to one of our medicine counter assistants who will confirm your details and take payment if required. |
2. Your prescription will be passed to a member of the dispensing team who will input the details of the prescription into our pharmacy computer system. If you’re a regular customer the system will check to see if your new medicines may interact with any other medicines you are taking.
|
3. The vast majority of medicines are kept in our robotic dispenser. When the details of the prescription are entered into the computer, the robot automatically retrieves the medicines and delivers them to the dispensing area. Any temperature sensitive medicines or those not kept in the robot will be dispensed in the traditional manner. The medicines are then checked against the prescription and labelled.

| 4. The pharmacist will perform a final clinical check, before handing your medicines over to you. For security reasons, we will ask you to confirm your date of birth before handing the prescription to you. The pharmacist will also offer advice on how best to take your new medicine and will be happy to answer any queries you may have. | ||||||||||||
